Bella Marie Cafe: The Aesthetic Cafe of Baguio

Instagram-worthy cafes and restaurants are already dominating Baguio City. We can’t blame them as it really is a plus for a restaurant to not just have great food but as well as have the ambiance that would make it stand out among the rest.
We found this cafe by accident when we’re exploring some restaurants at Aurora Hill. We were captivated with its overall pastel pink and turquoise design all over the cafe. Upon entering the cafe, we know it will be worth a visit. *Cue Taylor Swift’s ME
Every corner of the cafe is an Instagrammable spot. From pastel backgrounds to the palm-trees-vibe, we’re like living a cool millennial life. The most noticeable of all is the very cute neon sign that says “Laters, Baby”. In the age of social media where neon signs dominate Instagram feeds, you know you need to have a picture with it.
It honestly felt like Baguio’s version of Sunnies Cafe. The plants and furnitures including the bookshelf and modern chairs, added to the whole stylish ambiance of the cafe. The aesthetic vibe is overwhelming that we’re also expecting what they could offer as well for the food.
Since we came here for lunch, we ordered their Mushroom Alfredo (P149) and Pork Sisig (P149). Surprisingly, the Mushroom Alfredo tasted really creamy which was good enough for our taste buds. Added with two toasted breads, the serving was fine for its price. The Pork Sisig was also great but could be improved. We just wished it could be added with mayonnaise so it could taste more flavorful.
We also tried their Iced Latte (P100) which was delicious as well! It has a balanced taste for a coffee. The use of metal straws is definitely a plus! Can we also mention how Instagrammable their food is?
Since everything went well from the ambiance of the place to the food they served, we think that they carried out the name of “the chicest cafe” in Baguio. This restaurant is aesthetically pleasing for everyone who’ll dine here. It is, however, a little pricey for the food it offers. Nevertheless, we recommend this cafe mostly to people who need some pastel vibe to their Instagram feeds. Also, if you need a place to chill and relax with friends and good music, then this is your place. A glass of their iced latte will fill your day!
Ride a taxi and tell the driver to take you Aurora Hill Fire Station. Just across it is the cafe. (P80-P100 one way)
Go to the jeepney terminal going to Aurora Hill at Harrison Road near Burnham Park. Alight at the intersection of Rimando Road and Bayan Park Road. You will already see the cafe to your right. Make sure to have Google maps on the side! (P20 roundtrip)
